thinkpad laptop help IBM 600

I had a 600 come in for service with that error, I think. It also had errors 169 and 17x? Anyway, all three errors stemmed from a bad RTC battery (cost me a lot of time in troubleshooting because I tried to troubleshoot the cooling fan error first).
