Anyone know of a list of the error codes for this laptop? I searched on ibm's site and googled, but didn't come across anything. Under the system tests in bios It gives me the following errors for systemboard:

Dev 001
Err 91
FRU 3610

Anyclue what that would mean? Also when i'm booting into winxp it blue screens and tells me that windows setup can not continue b/c of an error. dumb laptops, now i know why i usually stick with desktops 🙂

It's a Thinkpad 600e with a pII 366 if that matters

Sign up on IBM's forum and post your question there.

Thanks guys, I think i found out what it all means. Seems to be a system board/battery problem, or at least that's what the FRU code means.

Also try searching IBM parts database against FRU number. it may point you in the right direction. Have you tried to boot into Thinkpads BIOS utility (F1 at start up)?
