Thinkpad 240 Processor Upgradeable?

I have the Thinkpad 240 with a celeron 300 processor and I was wondering if it is
upgradeable or if anyone out there has attempted to upgrade the processor. IBM has
released it up to speeds of 500mhz with either a PII or a celeron processor so I am
assuming that it can be. The price for these processors are so cheap now that I am
thinking about fudging around with my system. Anyone with ideas?

well u deffinetely cant put in a desktop CPU in there, the laptop CPU's are smaller and have different connectors so where will u find a mobile celeron or P3?

Obtaining the CPUs will be no problem. The only thing that I have to determine is what
type of connector it requires for the CPU. I believe there are 2 types for mobile CPUS, one
being the MMC and the other being the BGA. I guess I can just find out by opening the case.
