Thinking of upgrading my front 3

Here's my current setup:

Panny 54" G10
Denon 2310ci
Polk CS1 Center
Polk M50 Towers
Polk M30 Surrounds
Infinity PS212

I'm thinking of going used so I can stretch my $ just a bit more. My budget is $1000 but if there's a great deal on a set that's better I may go up to as much as $1500

Browsing CL I found a pair of slightly used Klipsch RF-62 towers for $500 and a new RC-62 center for $400 or a RC-52 for $280.

Another set that caught my eye are a pair of polk rti10 towers ($400) and a csi5 center ($180).

Any thoughts on these? I've never listened to any klipsch speakers before but going from all the reviews they're suppose to sound great. As for the polks I'm sure they'll be a big step up from my current ones. I'm open to other suggestions as well though. My usage will be 80% HT/movies and 20% music.

could check out the aperion stuff, i think they have towers for around $350, and they have really nice finishes.

you could also probably get B&W 684s and an HTM62 center for under $1500

Yeh, there's a lot of love for the the T45's. A lot of people complain about the T55's beeing a bit too "boomy" for their tastes. But the 45's work great when blended with a capable sub.

Agreed - I actually got a T45/B15/C40 surround set recently, and I specifically chose the T45 over the T55 because of the supposed "boomy" issue. Couldn't be happier.

The above sounds interesting. The CS2 center is a big upgrade from the CS1. Not sure about Polks much higher than the CS2.

Look at the Energy line up as well.

And I have heard amazing things about Paradigm, but those might be out of your price range.

What's your electronics? Obviously higher efficiency like Klipsch will be a bigger concern if you're power-limited...
