Probably from October 15 - December 15. I am looking for a villa/house to stay at for 2 months, any recommendations? Don't want to go over $1500 a month.
EDIT: Not planning to work, just relax and sit on the beach.

Never been all that far south of the boarder looking for housing. Are you planning to work?

Probably, haven't decided on the area, but want the water to be warm :) Haven't really travelled Mexico, so some advice on where to go would be appreciated as well, I do know that I want to stay on the Bahamas side though.

There are some nice areas in Mexico. Cancun and Acapulco come to mind. Nice sandy beaches with warm waters. Personally, I'd like to know why someone would go to Alaska.

I recommend going south of Cancun. Mayan Riveria to be exact. We took our honeymoon there and it was fantastic. (And there were topless women too) lol

Are you kidding? There are some great tourist areas in Mexico. And with the dollar being so much more than the peso, you could live down there quite well.

I've been to Cancun, Play de Carmen, Cozumel and Puerto Vallarta. By far and away Puerto Vallarta had the worst beaches. They were very rocky and not very attractive. Lake Michigan beaches are better. The Caribbean side of mexico has beautiful beaches and bright blue water plus a very large coral reef for snorkeling or diving fun and the ruins of Chichen Itza are only a 2 hour drive from Cancun.

I was thinking cancun, perhaps maybe going to one of the islands in the carribean, like Puerto Rico, or Barbados, or Cuba perhaps. Just need a place to stay.
