Thinking of Playing Diablo II LOD again..

It's been over 2 years since I played the game. I am thinking about start again on the game. does anyone here still play the game? Any changes? People still cheating?


I will make sure that I will only play 1 to 2 hours a night.. and no more..

they actually put out a new patch a couple months ago, might be worth checking out, I think they added a new dungeon or something. oh and the obligatory "wrong forum".

I tried few months ago but all my characters expired... I had a lot of "godly" items at the time too, accounts full of soj & dual leech rings / ammys, and the elite unique items (grandfathers sword, windforce, arkaines gear, etc)... I could've gotten good money for em on ebay, I regret not selling them. Just held on to them for a few years & now expired characters...

tons of new changed, and they actually reset the ladders now every few months. I have 2 copies of D2 w/ LOD, altough it wasn't enough to keep my attention for to long this time around.

I love the fact that they finally got it through the thick skulls to make ladder games available ONLY to ladder players and ladder players can ONLY player in games with other ladder players. If they would have done that 3 years ago I woudl have played a lot longer. It was so retarded when they'd reset the ladder and within a week there were level 99 characters because they just got in games with their other buddies who gave them all their equipment.

Ah well.

I still love my Necromancer with Blood Golem and Iron Maiden. Was unstoppable.

Eh, people still level up insanely fast. The only reason people arren't 99 in a week is because its impossible these days. Lvling up much past 95 is VERY VERY slow, they nuked xp on a lot of things. But on the last reset, I was still lvl 83 in about 4 days. Not exactly slow.
