thinking of picking up a HannsG HG-281DJB or hp w2207 both ON CLEARENCE HELP FAST

HannsG 27.5" LCD:

Is it worth $550? Here is what I want to use it for:

-GAMING!!!!!!! #1 priority coming from a 19"crt (viewsonic A90F+)
-Watching Dvd's from 11ft away on my bed
-TV; I want to get a tv tuner card

Or should I go with:
hp w2207 w/optional 4 year warranty +tax for $400

both of these are on clearence so I need to know fast. if anyone has either of these lmk the pro's/con's and if you would recommend for my purposes!

actually after reading some horrifying reviews on newegg about ghosting, HannsG customer support, and how games are unplayable in dark seens kinda puts the hannsG outta the question

I wish I could afford the 24" HP w2407
