Thinking of overclocking

I was under the impression that my Intel 845gebv2 was not overclockable, but I was doing some research and it seems that a few people have overclocked this board using a program called clockgen. It's a p4 2.66? Do you think it's do-able?

Yep Good stuff. Don't be surprised if some settings cause your whole system to freeze solid, so don't have anything important open while you're messing with it. A lot of what you're doing relates to the clock PLL-IC on your system board. Your 2.66 is the 533FSB Northwood w/512k L2, presumably? You should be able to get that to 3ghz on stock cooling rock solid, but much more than that usually gets tougher quickly without touching volts, easing memory timing, etc. Have fun, and post your results back here.
