I bought a 37" vizio LCD from costco a few months back, and have been debating whether to exchange it for a 42" or just stick with the 37".

It is for my living room, but I normally sit 8 ft or less away. often when gaming I sit 4-5 feet away.

I picked it up for $999 though, and I don't really want to spend much more than that. I had thought about just keeping this in my living room for a year or two, then upgrading to a nicer set and moving this one into my office.

Unfortunately i think a 50" DLP would be WAY too big for my house. My living room isn't that big.

I'm not sure which set I should get either... I want to get Microcenter's 37" Olevia, but apparently it's the inferior model and I'm not sure if it's still worth it.

Is it mostly for TV viewing or an uber large computer LCD?

No tuner, so I'd say the latter.

I went in on the Costco deal... picked up the membership too. If I don't like the TV, I'll just return it. The MC tv's weren't worth it to me.

What is MC's return policy like?

CostCo free shipping, no rebates & return policy FTW@

Standard retail policy, I presume. But the 32" has terrible ghosting, the 37" has no tuner, and the 42" is too expensive, so I had to rule them all out. I'd never get in on the Bestbuy/CircuityCity deals, so the Costco tv was a logical choice. The Target.com deal looks all right, but 37" may be too big for my room.

I have the same problem. Even with the 32" we'll probably have to do some minor furniture adjustments.
