Thinking of leasing a Prius

I'm fully aware and agree with you on the net cost benefit of a Prius and would never buy one.

But if I needed a new, high economy car a $199 to $229 a month Prius lease is an exceptional value. Which was the topic of this thread.

Nicely done getting the train back on the track!

In the lease case you actually can factor the $800 (or more) you'll save per year on fuel immediately. That is, you could lease another car for the same price, but the Prius would still effectively cost you $70 less per month (or more) simply b/c of the fuel economy.

It's very intriguing....
