I don't drink coffee and rarely drink much alcohol (New Year's and birthday's and Halloween provide exceptions
). But I drink waaay too much soda. Maybe 6 cans a day? I always get a coke with my meal when eating out.
I'm not fat (5'7" and 135-140), but I'm not in good shape, either. The other day I put in a couple miles on the treadmill and I felt like I was going to die, haha. I feel nervous/anxious/restless a lot. I'm in a performance-related career, and nerves seem to adversely affect the quality of my output often. I get plenty of sleep but still feel tired throughout the day. I get heartburn every now and then. I know I don't drink much straight-up water (soda is usually what I grab when thirsty).
Anyway, I know it's probably a good decision for my health. Anyone else do this and have a tale to tell?
