Thinking of getting XP-90 w a Panaflo 92mm fan

Hi,

I will probably be getting a 3200+ winchester and a xp-90 to go with it. I was wonderign which fan would be better for the xp-90. I dont know exactly which fan I want to buy right now......but im currently considering the 92mm Panaflo M1A, L1A and the 14dba SilenX fans(the niose/airflow ratio is too tempting, but ive been hearing some bad things about it resently). According to the specs, the Panaflow L1A is 3dba's quieter than the M1A but it pushes 5 cfm less air. Is this tradeoff worth it and is the niose level even noticable?(theoretically, 3dba IS alot!) I am planning to oc the 3200+ to 2.4-2.6, so would the L1A or SilenX even push enough air? Are there any better fans out there with acceptable niose levels? Any suggestions would be of great help 😛

Thx

BTW, how loud is a tornado modded to 5V?

All those fans are fine, you'd prolly have a hard time telling them apart unless you system is allready extreamly quiet. Since your overclocking I'd go with the M1A.

check out the nexus 92mm. Running at 12v 19.2dB 27 CFM, these are probably the quietest 92mm fans on the market. No clicking/chatter noise at all.

I already have 2 80mm H1A in my computer. Was wodering if the 92mm H1A is much louder than them. If not, then i might even go with the H1As :S I just want a fan with acceptable niose levels.......not really a quiet fan. When comparing the M1A and H1A, would the extra CFm of the H1a be worth the extra niose?

Do cheap fan controllers ever have like an annoying periodical "hum"......where the fan sorta like runs in an inconsistent fan speed so it goes "vrrrmmmMMMMmmmmmMMMMmmmmmmMMMM" .....im a pulsating manner? And If i dont use a fan controller, is it safe to plug the fan into the mobo?

Thx
