Use to play mud's all the time (text based game), and I have been thinking of getting WOW. Is it possible to advance at all playing maybe an hour-two hours a day?
yes indeed. if your player is inactive you build up "rest" (longer you are inactive, the more rest you accumulate). while you are rested you get double experience, so this help close the gaps btw you and people that can play 8 hours a day. later in the game, you will find that you want to set aside a few hours to go through some of the larger instanced zones with a group of people. i play about 2 hrs a day, maybe less even, and have a blast.Originally posted by: sonz70

i don't want to waste my life on a video game. i'd rather spend my time learning something useful or spending time with friends.

Is thread-crapping something you consider "learning something useful" or "spending time with friends?" 😕

You can reach level 60 in about 12 days of gametime playing at a comfortable pace.
