thinking of getting an xterra

From what I hear the xterra isn't the most comfortable ride. I think you'd be better off with a used Pathfinder. Just make sure it has the 3.5 and not 3.3L V6.

smooth ride, gee since people looking at an xterra want a smooth ride, if you want a nice ride, get a luxury car, not an suv

I love my nissan (car). But the Xterra looks stupid as all fck. Some stupid scheme to make them look more like vans so people think they are safer. 😕

I would check out the Ford Escape. I got one with everything: leather, 6cd, sunroof, AWD, V6, towing package, for about $23k. Very nice ride, pretty good on gas, etc.

It is built on a unibody frame, so it's really a wagon. In any case, I think that it is a pretty good vehicle. Haven't gotten it stuck once, and it tows my bass boat very well.

If we are defining an SUV as something built on a truck frame, then the Xterra is definitely an SUV. So, it will do well off-road, but it will ride like a pick-up truck.

If you like Nissan's and want a smooth ride, check out the Murano. I'm not sure what the price is, but they are nice for on-road driving.
