I have a good friend down there that I haven't seen her for 3 years.

I'm planning to fly down.. I'll be staying at her house so I don't have to worry about spending more $$ on hotels etc..

However, I'm worried about Airfare.. What's the price now if I were to go down this summer? Isn't it about $200-250?

I heard that my friend can get me a roundtrip ticket to FL for $100 through Priceline.com..

Is he just pullin' my leg?? That is a very good deal.. What are some ways to get to FL for cheapest???

How does Priceline exactly work? and Can i really get it for $100? Do you know any special offers???

thx

i usually use travelocity.com, as for the cheapist fare, just make sure you buy early, 7 days in advance at least, 14 or 21 days in advance will get you an even cheaper ticket sometimes :)

if you go to the airport and fly standby, you could probably get about 75$ - 100$ one way....

priceline works fine too... i got a roundtrip ticket from Atlanta, to New Jersey for 120$... its possible what your friend says.. i dunno about 100$... but you can try... it does work..

With some persistent searching you can probably find a roundtrip ticket for $150 including all fees and taxes, here's a good place to start with some airfare search engines.

Astral projection is free... ;)

Seriously, I hope you get a good deal. Where in FL are you headed? It's a sauna down here now, you know.

Try Orvitz. It's supposed to be owned/sponsored by the airlines themselves, using their internal reservation system or something..

If you head to Orlando it might cost more since this is tourist season ... or does TS really ever end here ? I dunno it might cost less since the high traffic . Id wait till like next Febuary to fly down when it's actually nice here :)

Check with Southwest Airlines. My girlfriend's roommate flies from DC to Boston and back fairly regularly, and it usually runs her roughly $120 for a round trip. Florida should be more expensive, but I would imagine you could fly Southwest much cheaper than some of the others.

You also might want to check out Amtrak. It's not always the fastest or cheapest way to travel, but it is definitely the most comfortable.

I get email updates from:
Smarterliving
Last one to Orlando
The discounted, round-trip fares from Orlando are
$138 BOSTON: Delta
Most fares are for travel this coming weekend only. Those
noted with one or more stars (*), however, are valid for
different dates.

Got to move quick on these, though.

flight 1666 via Cannon Airlines, nonstop to a location south of the location of the cannon. Exact location cannot be determined without prior information of user's weight and wind conditions. One person per flight, one way only, we are not responsible for lost or exploded luggage.
