It says OEM, so I figure it doesn't come with any packaging or install CD's? Or does it come with a CD? I'm just wondering if I'm going to need install drivers during installation, or if it will Plug and Play properly in Win98se...

I have to ask if you have checked the for/sale forum. A lot of people were getting rid of soundblasters due to the via chipset bug not long ago.

Shoot, I've got a Gigabyte board with a Via KT133 chipset, is this one of the boards affected by the bug? Which soundcard is recommended for Via chipsets?

Nah man, you should be fine. It is the KT133A with the 686B Southbridge that is causing havoc.

I'm using a KT133A mobo and a SB Live card. No problems here.

MSI K7Turbo, BIOS v.10B16

Also, I recently purchased hw from NewEgg. Other than a small delay--everything was fine.
