Im thinking of buying this flat panel monitor tomorrow

http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm...m/ccd/productDetail.do

Liquid Video Monitor (L17LCD2)

LQD L17LCD2
? Flat-panel LCD
? 17" display

? 1280 x 1024 resolution
? Built-in speakers

I work at RiteAid so we get sundays newspaper flyers a day or 2 b4 sunday so i looked in circuitcity's flyer and that monitor is on sale tomorrow for 300$ with a 50$ rebate..... i think thats a fairly good deal cause i dont have to wait for it to be shipped , there's no shipping cost, plus if it has dead pixels i can just take it right back without having to pay a restocking fee .....

Im still saving up to upgrade my whole computer, and i do plan on buying a flat panel so i dont see any reason to wait.......

My current monitor is a crappy 15" HP CRT which has alot of problems , if its moved around sometimes it that screen will mess up and look weird then i'll have to hit it a few times to fix it lol sometimes it goes crazy on me and i see white lines going up and down and hitting it wont do anything i'll have to wait for it to go away on its own.....Im kinda fed up and want a new monitor .....

I got a black and silver wireless keyboard and mouse set for christmas which totally would go with that monitor.....lol

I have crappy onboard video, for a flat panel do i need a special input or anything ?

do u guys think should i go for it ?

I've actually seen thse in person and they aren't bad at all. So far the ones I've looked at does not suffer from any backlight bleeding and usually the picture is quite bright and clear. Buying from CC also means good satisfaction return policy so if you find a bad pixel or two, simply return it.

from the sound of it (crapy on board video) your not using your PC for gaming ;) So the refresh rates and amazing quality isnt really an issue, im assuming... From what ive heard, liquid video monitors are not that good... But that is not that high of a price so... If you like it than you should get it... but make sure youve seen it in the store and actually SEEN the picture quality and not just from the internet... I ordered a 19 inch samsung LCD from circuit city online once, got there, realized the quality was not good at all, and picked out the 17 inch sony SDM-HS74 (which is a buetiful monitor by the way!)...If this is what suits you then get it, but i just dont know about Liquid Video...

Ive been reading some of the reviews on the site, and the only thing that isnt so great about it is the speakers and that the base is not as stable as some of the other LCD......I think i can live with both , i just dont want any dead pixels.....
