I'm thinking of buying a 24" widescreen Dell 2405 LCD monitor. I currently have a 19" Hyundai L90D+ LCD. If I were to get the Dell, should I even bother running a dual setup with both monitors, or should I just sell the L90D. Are there any problems with running a dual setup with different sized monitors?

This is kind of a noob question regarding dual setups; when running two monitors, is it possible to be running a game on one and have your desktop on the other and do this all with one vid card, or would you need two vid cards for this?

There are no problems with multi-monitor setups with different size monitors as long as you are not using clone mode. Extended desktop/dual view works just fine since both monitors can be run at different resolutions. (I run a 22" CRT with a 19" LCD for instance.)

Sorta. You can have whatever you want on your secondary monitor (the extended desktop) while you are gaming on your primary monitor. Just drap whatever you want viewed to that monitor.

As for this part, now this can all be done on one video card correct?
