Anyone have any experience with these bikes? I looked at one yesterday but haven't ridden it yet. To me it looks like the perfect bike. I love the looks, it's lightweight and powerful enough but not too powerful...oh, and of course it's a BMW. I'm just going to do some commuting on it (when I'm not riding my bicycle) and ride it on weekends.
I want something lightweight and fun but the idea of a sportbike doesn't appeal to me. This bike would be more comfortable for longer rides.
I was looking at getting a cruiser over the summer but the deal fell apart (bike turned out to be a salvage title) and ended up buying an older Honda 750 but it's heavy and old and I'm off the cruiser idea for now because they all weigh so damned much. I want something more modern and easier to maneuver in traffic. I can get what I paid for the Honda back when I sell it so I'm not worried about that.
