Thinking of buying 42" Viewsonic HDTV

42" 1920x1080 - $1250 Canadian or $1190 U.S.

I am in Canada and they are selling it at Costco, so far I haven't been able to find a 37" in Canada's Costco so was thinking of getting this 42", but it would only be about 3 feet away and thinking 42" might be a bit big for that close. As for watching movies will be about 7 feet away.

I will be using it 60% for working on my computer, 20% for games and 20% for watching movies (mostly through my computer), but some VHS etc.

Any suggestions opinions welcome.

sit a little further away if you have to.
also if you wanna see what the pixel pitch would be just watch 800x600 on a 17" monitor.

the extreamly low pixel pitch is your only concern.
