Hey everyone. :D
I'm thinking of building my own computer with these parts:

ASUS P8Z77-V LX and Intel Core i5-3570K Bundle
$369.99

Kingston Technology HyperX 8 GB (2x4 GB Modules) 1600 MHz DDR3 Dual Channel Kit (PC3 12800) 240-Pin SDRAM KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX
$40.99

Western Digital Caviar Blue 500 GB SATA III 7200 RPM 16 MB Cache Bulk Desktop Hard Drive - WD5000AAKX
$69.99

Corsair Builder Series CX V2 430-Watt 80 Plus Certified Power Supply Compatible with Intel and AMD Platforms - CMPSU-430CXV2
$43.99

Cooler Master Cooler Master Elite 430 Mid Tower ATX Case with Window (RC-430-KWN1)
$39.99

Total: $564.95 USD
My budget is $750 dollars, and I already have a graphics card. I'm going to be using this build for gaming (Starcraft 2 and MW3!) and casual web browsing. It's missing a wireless card and a CD-ROM drive, but I can take those from my old Dell.
I'm buying all of these parts from Amazon.

Can you computer geniuses tell me if this is a good deal? Any suggestions?
Thanks! (`・ω・´)”

CPU/mobo: Newegg has that bundle for $357 before $10 MIR.

RAM: That RAM is 1.65V. You want 1.5V (or less).

HDD : That's a small HDD for the price. How about 1TB for $8 more at NCIX?

PSU: That PSU is usually a lot less at Newegg AR. ($25AR today.) But what's your video card?

Thanks Ken, I'll be getting those parts from Newegg then. Can you suggest a good 1.5v RAM to me? Thanks.

Lakedude, I have the OS taken care of, I'm going to boot from a CD. Unfortunately, I do not live by a Micro Center. I usually go to Fry's for any electronics.

You're running a system like this from a livecd?

Do you or do you not need a Windows license?

Sorry, I'm a complete newbie at installing operating systems. What I meant was I was going to install the operating system FROM a cd.

oem is locked to the motherboard you install it on.. retail can be moved to a second computer if the first is un installed. retail is expensive around 160-199 for home and 240 for pro

Also, unless you specifically need any features that the P8Z77-V LX has that the ASRock Z77 Pro3 does not, you can save another $50 with this combo.
