Thinking about Overclocking this GF2.

Maybe, Right now the clock is

200mhz Graphics Clock

333mhz Memory Clock

Default speed..

This card has a wide HSF on it, How much can i oc it and what kind of performence differnce would i see?

theres no telling how high you can oc until you really try it, but you may see a small increase in performance, but if you arent having any slowdowns or skips now you dont really need to oc unless you r doing it for the fun of it 😉

The geforce2 GTS will only really benifit from overclocking the ram since they are bandwidth limited. Try upping it in 10Mhz steps and running a benchmark to check improvements. If performance decreases with a step or you begin to see graphical glitches on the screen, you've found the limit.

Depending on the RAM on the card, you can expect a 5-20% increase in clockspeed, which will help the card in high resolution scenerios.

hmm ok thanks but i think i'll leave it alone for now, I'm also about to try this baby out in my 2nd mechine to see how it works out.
