$500 won't get you a lot. I've done three solo amateur photo shoots, about 200 pictures each and made around 2,000 bucks when I was 18, so... 6 years ago. I recently got an email from the same person that I was working with before and he was offering up to $2,500 per shoot solo, 3-4 grand for straight sex, and more for male-male work.

The economy is in a slump but the adult business couldn't be better. If you want to make money in it, find someone that's doing shoots or "scouting" for amateur photos and work with them.

Uh yeah you may not think this happens, but it does. I was set up with a recruiter\scout before through a friend of mine. This is why there are millions of photos on the internet. Its not like they just sit around waiting for sleezeball people to need cash. Many regular people are in the amateur business on the side.

Just because the industry is flooded and subscriptions to paysites are getting cheaper doesn't mean the porn scene is beginning to die. Youporn may be some amazing new media resource that's taking potential paying customers away, but i'm speculating that its not going to be putting adult film makers out of business, professional or not... you still need the adult films.

Even with billions of photos and flooded media on the internet there is still high enough of a demand for new content that scouts are willing to pay big bucks for sets of stills. 2500 bucks for 200 photos, 20 of which will probably actually be used? That's damn good money.

I know a little about the porn industry and way too much about the escorting industry.
