unless you plan on puttin it in a laptop or something i wouldn't either right now. They're just not very $$$ friendly and they haven't worked all the kinks out of them IMO.
Because we have no idea of the context of the question!! It's ridiculous that you expect us to determine whether or not it's a good idea for you when you don't tell us what your uses are, what you currently have and what your budget is. We're not mind readers, what do you expect?!
If you really want an SSD go for the Intel X25-M instead, for the reasons listed in that article. That whole article is a great read, well worth your time especially if you're seriously planning to spend that kind of money on an SSD.
