Thinking about getting digital Comcat Cable for my new TV, does Comcast digital come in 480P?

I bought a Samsung TXN3245 32" EDTV a few months ago (only $599 at ciruit city), watching progressive scan DVD's @ 480P looks great. If I get digital Cable will it be able to support my TV's resolution? Or will I just have to settle with using s-video in analog mode?

Not sure of the signal, but it's nowhere near DVD quality, more like regular VHS on a $1 tape that's been used a couple of hundred times.

Digital Cable is not progressive scan.
