I'm thinking about getting my brother an aquaroid fish for Christmas... Does anyone own one of these? Do they actually have "staying power", or are they cool for a few minutes, then you get board with them?

That's pretty cool, never seen that before...

But what's the fun of it? It just swims around and that's it.... For that price you can get a LOT of real fish (which are much more fun)...

Those are cool, but 15 day lifespan for the batteries? Not to mention the initial cost. I'd rather get one of those small remote control submarines. I think those would be more fun.

Here's a link to one mini sub. I think they had some for as cheap as $20 for a while. There was a hot deal posted a while ago on them.

I think the link for the 15 day lifespan for the batteries is in the aquaroid link. 15 8 hour days though.
