Thinking about getting a Smart Phone through Sprint

I was checking out the PPC-6700, but i checked reviews and it looks like the phone is about a year old already. Any one know when the new models come out with WM6?

I would definitely hold out for WM6 models to start coming out...not sure when Sprint will get theirs. I loaded a cooked WM6 ROM on my MDA and it is fvcking great. Everyone always said this cooked WM5 ROM or that WM5 ROM was faster, but I never noticed a difference. This is the first ROM I've ever loaded where I really noticed a major speed difference. Now I just need to get an x64 box and Exchange 2007 for our office...

thats vile, get a smartphone that can at least be used with other providers.

Sprint is usually dead last when it comes to releasing new phones. You may have to wait a long while.

Don't get the PPC-6700. I know 2 people who got it and both hate it. It's horrible with reception and it does a nightmare job with voicemail.

I had the phone. Aside from its size, it worked well.

No problems with voicemail and reception was on par with just about every other cell phone

I wouldn't buy another. If i were to purchase a new smart phone from sprint, I'd get the Q.

yeah the only reason i considered the 6700 is because of the hidden keyboard, using two hands doesn't bother me. anyone else?
