Thinking about G450 DH - don't!!

The Matrox G450 DH is bad at 3D we all know that but this bad. My Asus GF2MX scored 5345 in 3D Mark while the G450 scored 2037 with same setup. Even my G400 beats that at 32xx. So what is this card good for - that is the million dollar question - In my view amazing 2D is not enough to justify acquiring it - only if it is priced at around $60 would it be worth considering.
BTW it works with the ATI TV Wonder in case some are contemplating it for dual head purposes like I did. Forget games though.

Some people have dedicated gaming systems and workstation systems. For business apps, I think it is a great card. For gaming, yeah, I agree. I still miss my older Matrox G400 sometimes. At the time, it was the fastest D3D video card and looked beautiful, especially DVD on my TV. 🙁

3dmark is highly in favor of nVidia video cards. The g450 is not suposed to be faster than the g400. It had a 64 bit ddr bus. It's suposed to be a bit slower. It has DH, Great2d and it's cheap.
