I was paying $25/month before for 1.5mb DSL, but they had a promotion where I got 6mb DSL for no additional charge for a while. The promotional period is now over so I need to downgrade my internet. Here are the prices...

$20/month - 768 kbps
$25/month - 1.5mb
$30/month - 3mb
$35/month - 6mb

What do you guys think I should do? I don't download often, just mainly email, banking etc so I'm leaning towards saving money, but I've never used 768 kbps DSL, only 1.5.

768 is fine for email and basic browsing. But try to load any kind of multimedia through it and you will immediately notice the difference. We're talking at least 10 times slower than basic cable service by that point.

So I take it YouTube would be YouCrap with 768?
