I've studied abroad. Or two. :) So it's not unanimous, "don't do it." :).

Heck you can 'study' more than one broad a semester as long as they don't know about each other!

I wish I had....it's the one thing I regret not doing in college.

I also wish I had tried to do either one of those English teaching programs or the Peace Corps after college. But I'm not "regretful" that I didn't.

Starting shopping around for different programs early. Right now is a good time to get things set up for a spring '09 or summer '09 program. I'm headed to Tasmania for fall semester on June 29.

Anyone have a good website with information on the process? How to get started? Did you guys just do it through a uni program?

This is only magnified for me since my brother ended up doing a semester in London, Greece, and New Zealand. I saw the pictures, I meet some of the people that he meet. I was pretty sad that i didn't do it.
