thinking about changing my laptop purchase...

I just found a $325 off coupon for inspirons priced over $1299. Im getting a laptop for school, durability is really important. I had ordered the laptop already from hp here is a quick rundown of it:

1. core 2 duo t7100,2gb ddr, nvidia 383mb 8400gs,120gb hd, dvdrw/cdrw, 6 cell high capacity battery. All for $970 after shipping and tax.

Now i went over to dell and was able to configure the same thing, same os, (no webcam like the hp has) but i'd get a 8600m gt graphics card, and a 1680 resolution screen.applied the $325 coupon and arrived at $1,155 after shipping and tax

So really im paying an extra $180 for a better graphics card and a higher res. screen in the dell laptop. Now if dell is better, and their screens tend to be better im gonna lean with dell and probably cancel the hp. What do you guys think?

I'd really like to coddle you and assume you don't know where to post. But, I have my doubts. Since I do and you have done this before with a PS3 thread, I am going to use my discretion and lock this instead of moving it.
The proper forum for you to complain in is Personal Forum Issues. Or, send a PM to the AnandTech Moderator account. Be sure to tell whomever will listen that I am evil and a stupid mofo.
Tell them that you didn't know we had different forums now and you missed the upgrade. You might also tell them how long you have been a member here and that by your presence that you support the site and that I have done nothing while I have been here but abuse my power.
At least that's how it works after our "upgrade".
Or, just repost it in the correct forum.
