Why not a crew cab 1500 ?

The 07 H3 inline 5 engine has 20 more HP, I don't know if that helps. It's a decent off-road suv. There are plenty of choices out there, I prefer the Nissan xterra over the H3. The Xterra is a little cheaper, more powerful engine, decent off-road capability.
I hate foreign cars.

That is too bad because the Nissan Xterra and Toyota FJ Cruiser are both better vehicles. They handle off-roading better and will last 2x as long easy.

What are the primary reasons you want a Hummer?

I think a Tahoe would be a better choice. I love those things.

For a high-price SUV it seems underpowered and overly small on the inside IMO.
Dunno the specs of the FJ cruiser, but I think they look better than the H3.

I suppose it's a masculine car, but it's not something I'd want to drive. I want something low to the ground that I can swing around corners and possibly feel the road I'm driving on. Essentially, the hummer is going to make you feel all cushy and separate you from the driving experience...kind of like my mom's RX330.

I don't like low to the ground cars... maybe I should have explained this earlier, but I'm 6'4" and I'm 250... so I'm a pretty big guy. I like having some interior space and when I step out of a vehicle I don't want to feel like I'm crawling out of it, or removing myself from a spam can. I like my interior space. I also like having a vehicle that if I needed to sit in the back seat, or any of my friends had to... they'd be comfortable sitting back there.
As for the driving experience I guess I've missed out all my life because I've owned large vehicles all my life... pickup trucks mostly... which is why "low gas mileage" doesn't bother me, I've never had high gas mileage so it's not like I'm losing any gas mileage by buying another large vehicle.

i've heard the H3's I5 is relatively weak, given the size of the vehicle, but otherwise it's a solid machine. definitely give a look at it and let us know how it goes, and good luck w/ your search![]()
