Thinking about a new couch

Couch is awesome. Arrived no problem, only weird part was the mechanism by which the pieces attach. Otherwise it is super comfortable and big. We also added two tables to replace our loss of coffee table / bigger side table, one behind the couch and a smaller side table. We got a rug to tie it all together too man.

We purchased the couch today from overstock. Looking forward to actually being comfortable while I veg in front of the screen.

I have a fairly large living room that I also use as my home theater (120" screen). I currently have a horrible normal 3 seat couch that I bought quickly when I moved into the place 3 years ago. I'm looking into new couches and trying to find something the wife and I like. She showed me this one and I kind of like it:

It would fit with its 10' length and I think the curve is pretty cool and a comfy setup for movie nights. I also like the movable ottomans. It looks like it has a bit of a recline to it compared to a normal couch, as well as no traditional arm rests.

There are many couches out there to choose from.

I hear you there, but it's really hard to find the couch you want in person. I went into several local stores, and the selection was very limited. I found maybe 1 or 2 couches that were close to what I was looking for and they wanted $5k. Online, less than $2k. What can you do? The selection at Wayfair and overstock and such is vastly superior to a store. I did pay close attention to reviews, and checked several sources like RearAdmiral mentions, but for me it was worth the risk.

It is very difficult to find something in a store. The folks in the stores are like vultures whenever we want to shop too, unless we go to Amish country. I suppose worst case you are out a couple hundred bucks to send it back. Thankfully this one specifically at least has reviews, but a lot do not which would complicate the issue.
 
Yeah, I guess I have more choices living in LA; lots of stores to try from big-box stuff to higher end. The last two sofas we bought were from Macy's....but of course they no longer have the furniture galleries here and the stuff on display at the regular stores is pretty limited.
