Alright well im fed up with my computer now so im thinking about selling it for around $1000-$1200

What i want to know is if I should go with am2 on my next build or just stick with 939 and let the price drop. Any suggestions on what type of build i should go with would be good THANKS!

You would get much more for your money to stick with 939. If you get a lower-end one that meeds your needs you will have a nice upgrade path in 2-3 years when the prices on 939 are insanely low.

You will get better overall upgradeability with an AM2 though if you get a lower-end one with a chipset that can scale well up to later revisions.

go with conroe on your next build. You could grab an E6600 or an E4300 when it comes out. E4300 is going to be a value part, however, it runs on an 800mhz fsb so that gives you the same 9x multi that's on the E6700+. You could overclock it like crazy with the right mobo.
