Who cares what people think, buy your next car on the merits of what you like, not what others do se7enty7 :)

No they aren't chick cars. Internet geeks who think they know about cars call it a chick car. I wouldn't get a 240sx if I were you. You already have a 200sx so you don't need the practicality, so just get a Miata. It better be a manual.

Go autocrossing... get better at it. Then go laugh at all the people who call your car a girls car because you just handed their asses back to them. :D

I think when people do buy cars, what other people think of them does matter. But in the overall scheme of things, you should buy whatever your heart desires and not base the decision soley on what others will think of you. *cough*Mr. Feminine*cough* :p heh j/k

My brother's 94 Miata has about 140k miles on it. Only items that have ever been replaced are the timing belt, water pump, brakes, tires, and the top (vandalism).
They're great little cars... if you can stand the "little" part of them.

You want great fun? Take a Miata out in a slick rain ;):D:evil:

My friend has a 2004, and his Mom has a 2003. They are both really nice cars for what they are, and handle/drive really good. I wouldn't drive one, but thats just me. If you like it then I don't think it is a bad deal. You should wait and get the new one, its supposed to be turbo charged I belive, at least thats what my friend said, I dont' keep up with miatas :p

I have a 1992 626 and it's holding up quite well. The biggest thing I remember doing to it is getting strut mounts. It has something like 136,000 miles on it and it still gets me to work everyday just fine.

Also I like miatas. I would want one if I could fit in em  Currently looking at the 3
