thinking about a heads up display for my car

Anyways... I saw the heads-up in a friends corvette last year. VERY cool. I would go for it if you have the money. I know I would if my wife would go for it.

I don't think they aren't extraordinarily expensive... for some reason $200 - $500 springs to mind. I saw an aftermarket HUD once, it was a little projector that projected onto a "transparent" windsheild stick on thing that made the speed appear to be about 4 feet in front of the car. It wasn't distracting at all.

I want one...but more importantly I want a digital dash!! Unfortnately those are not possible...atleast not without a whole lot of money!
