This might be a far simpler answer than I am looking at, but here's my scenario.
Small business.
3 Computers, one in my office, one at front desk, and one laptop on the road.
All 3 must use QuickBooks for invoicing etc, and all 3 must share photos and documents.
I currently only have two computers, and use Google Drive for the photos/documents. For QuickBooks I use LogMeIn to remotely access the desktop when on the road with the laptop, but I HATE that app. Resolution all screwey etc, compounded by the fact that I use dual screens at the desktop.
I am now in the position where I have a spare 'room' with all data wiring going to, planned for a router, but could easily be for a server.
Is there an easy way for any or all 3 computers to access a Server with one copy of QuickBooks accessable for all? And a dedicated spot for all photos/documents?
I am pretty savvy, but just never dabbled with Servers before.
Feel free to ask any relevant questions, I have at least a month or two before implementing this.
