Think your hearing is good?

Very easy at FIRST, then it starts getting more difficult to perceive the distortion. Those with better audio boards, speakers/earphones, etc. and ability to listen should have no problem getting into the -30's.

The source is distorted (mp3?) but this tests one ability to hear the difference too. Fun nonetheless! 🙂

I got to 42. Missed the last one though🙁

edit.I kept going after the first fail and wound up averaging -45db with 799 others 🙂

edit. with a SB Live hooked up to a Sony mini hi-fi.

I don't think my hearing is that good but I made it to -45 (got all three correct at the end) using axiom m3ti's and a panasonic xr-55 hooked up to my pc.

I can get upto -30 on most tests but after that it's too hard. The sound from my cooling fans mess with the test I'm thinking.

Klipsch Pro media 5.1

Using laptop with Sennheiser 201's, I got to -18 before I got one wrong. But my onboard sound SUCKS THE BIG ONE, so I'm not too worried. I dunno though, -24 was really hard to distinguish.

Klipsch Promedia 2.1 and a cheapo Aureal board and I have bad ears, -24dB. As a side note, the source material didn't seem to be very high quality, to me anyway
