Think this is causing problems with my system?

This is the motherboard ATX connector of the PSU. One of the pins looks burnt.
The female connector on the motherboard is just fine.
The system powers on and runs just fine, until prolonged gaming (and only gaming) where the system shuts down and the motherboard makes a faint beeping siren sound.

Rig specs

Think that could have something to do with it?

Funny how it can power the system normally but die during games.
I'd expect it to not power on at all.

Yes! Connector heats up, resistance at the connection rises, voltage drops on the mobo side of the connector as load increases (as in gaiming) - system eventually dies... It is the fault of the PSU side connector - cheap female contacts that loosen after some amount of thermal cycling - so if it's under warranty, RMA it! There have been several threads on this phenomenon in this and/or the Tech Support sections recently.
. You can clean (and tighten the female contacts on the PSU side) the contacts on both sides (i use pipe cleaners and good contact cleaner solvent (e.g. Caig Labs Deoxit) to clean ATX power contacts) and they will work well again at least for a while. If you use a contact enhancer like Caig Labs Pro Gold after cleaning, it will take a lot longer for the contacts to loosen again.
. FYI: PSU side is FEMALE - mobo side is MALE - it's the contact PINS, not the SHELLs that determines sex of the connector.

p.s. You are lucky you caught it early. One other victim of this posted a pic that showed the plastic had actually melted away around the contacts on the PSU side. I had a system that had this effect occur at a drive connector and the insulation on the yellow conductor had melted halfway back to the PSU...bh.
