How about THIS case & THIS power supply? :)
You'll have an excellent quality power supply that should last through a few upgrades & a very good quality steel case that's easily modded.
Oh...& you'll save about $50 in the process as well! :D

I never have understand this 'get the cheapest thing made and save yourself 50 bucks' mentality!

Is everyone on food stamps in these forums or what?

Man, this reminds me of "Lord of The Flies"...

It's like, should I go out Saturday night, or buy a can of pork n' beans and rent a 99-cent movie, you know?

hold up... are you saying that the enhance 5140gh is a crappy psu? That is false! I can assure you that enhance is among the best in quality! (If you were being sarcastic, then I'm sorry that I didn't catch it) Anyway, you could use a $59 seasonic s12 330w as well. There is also the 300w version of the 5140gh, the 5130gh, though it's not widely available, it will be more than enough for your 200w rig.

On a side note stay away from ewiz...do not buy from them.
Stick to Mwave, Newegg, ZipZoomFly, Monarch, TankGuys, Outpost, or ClubIT for your parts.

unfortunatly ewiz is the only vendor that sells enhance at realistic prices... :( xoxide.com has some good deals on seasonic psus too.

Those are 2 great choices, as you can never go wrong with anything lian-li or seasonic. However I would opt for a larger wattage Power Supply personally, as 380W is kinda small these days, especially with video cards reaping in more power every day.

You don't need an Enhance PSu...xoxide.com is pretty good in my experience. I bought some stuff through them before.

Looks like a pretty good deal to me

Alot of people don't like Antec. I have a TPII 430 that works great. I would probably buy a PC Power & Cooling PSU for my next one if I ever needed a new PSU.

krotchy: fortunatly the 7600gt consumes very little power.
cmdrdredd: why doesn't he need an enhance psu? There are many better lower cost options than pcp&c... like enhance.

Im aware the 7600GT uses very little power, it doesnt even have a PCIe 6 pin power header on the back. However if he ever decides to get a better card in the future, the 380W might not be near enough.

Dunno about the PSU, but the case is a good choice. I recently got one of them myself from Performance PCs, and after a few negative first impressions and a little trial and error I came to the conclusion that it's really a very nice case. It's lightweight, has great cooling potential, and looks terrific without sacrificing functionality. A couple things to consider if you go with the PC-7b Plus II:

1) Plan on turning down the stock fans' speeds a bit if you're a quiet computing aficionado. I turned them down a bit and they sound alright. They seem to move a good amount of air.
2) In addition to the stock dual 120mm fans, this case has room for plenty more ventilation. Depending on your airflow configuration, you may want to invest in an 80mm fan for the blowhole or the side Plus II fan bracket for some additional VGA cooling. Me, I just went for an adjustable blowhole fan. I've got a Freezer 64 Pro and a NV Silencer 5 Rev 3 on my 7800 GT so thanks to their exhaust airflow I don't really need the Plus II bracket.
3) This case doesn't come with a front fan filter. Don't forget to buy one.
4) This case shows fingerprints easily. Of course, probably not everyone is as picky as I am about these things... :)

Hope that helps.

I'm saying, I don't understand why everyone here is so hung up on trying to get (they think) something for nothing.

On whatever scale you choose to use, even a no-name, cheapskate bell curve, I would judge that Seasonic trumps Enhance. It's not so much, which is better, but rather which is worse.

Personally, I think they are both cheap POS, but I would hold my nose, and pick a Seasonic PSU over an Enhance, if it was 5 mintes before closing, on a Saturday night, and the alternative was being without a computer for the rest of the weekend -- but, either way, I would have to be pretty desperate.

Are ppl here really that destitute? That's my question, and my observation... ;)

$250 for a 510w psu is a sin. Even zippy emacs is more competetive in their pricing ($200 for their top of the line 600w psu) and they are no. 1 in quality. The loan thing was more of a joke.

I see. Well, let's try this...

If I was the OPER, I would take out a loan for $70 instead of $50, and get this power supply, instead of the wimpy 380W Seasonic, but that's just me. And, that's no joke! :)

That's where I'm coming from... I'd spend a little more, rather than a little less! Doesn't that make more sense in the long run?

yeah except that's over 400w of wasted power. I still wouldn't trust thermaltake. Their products are cheap.

How ridiculous. Lay off the testosterone for a minute and look at what the OP is running - a single CPU, single GPU, single hard drive system. And both the GPU and CPU are relatively power-efficient models. The Seasonic 380W would be perfectly fine, as would a similar Fortron, Antec, or other halfway decent model, though I do like the low noise level of the Seasonics personally. Someday you'll grow up and realize how much money you've wasted for the sake of boosting your ego rather than your box.

@OP: Your choices are fine. You may want to consider the 60BPLUS instead of the 7B as that model offers a slide-out motherboard tray and a couple other small features that are nice to have. Considering that a good case will probably outlast any other component you use, spending an extra $30 on it is not a bad idea. My LL PC60 has served me well for close to 5 years now, and was well worth the cost. But the 7B is a nice case too, and very reasonably priced.

So if it's not a Lian Li case, it's crappy quality? Have you had one of these cases?

You must not get it. I was telling him by going with my suggestions, he'd save about $50 over what he originally chose.
I was under the impression the OP was on a budget & was giving him my suggestions. I never said Seasonic was junk nor Lian Li was crappy...just that there's "no-name" products out there that will suit his needs.

i'm sure $20 won't get you much quality in computer case's. costs gotta be cut somewhere, and it doesn't look like they cut the costs in the 5.25 covers or the power button =\

Sorry! My bad!

Title: Think this is a decent Case + PSU choice?

Decent: Of moderately good quality but less than excellent.

I agree! That would be "Lian Li + Seasonic"... ;)
