Think this board has gotten a little too big?

Note - I am not criticizing anyone here, just trying to start an honest and real discussion. Seems like this board with over 50K members has gotten a little too big in my opinion. Too many people with different opinions causing all kinds of clashes with people screaming about all kinds of intolerances - racial, ethnic, etc. I remember the old UBB days when it was much more close knit, oh well those days are over.

Please try to keep the flames to a minimum, feel free to agree/disagree

Bigger the better I say! Not many people are on at any one time anyway.

It's all good, lots of interesting reading and many people getting things off their chest discussing things they feel are important. Biggup The Anandtech forum's and their users

Yeah, in bigger forums, people tend to get less and less impersonal and for the most part don't look to forums to make potential friendships. kinda sad, but inevitable.

What do you guys think? Especially some of those that have been around a while like NFS4, Viper, others.
