Think the backlight on my LCD just went...?

The screen went black all of a sudden, but the signal light was still blue. I turned it off, then back on, and it comes on for a sec (picture looks fine as well), then makes a strange buzzing noise and goes blank again - this is repeatable. Is this the backlight most likely, or could it be something else?

Very likely the backlight. How old is the LCD? Are the power cables and video cables plugged in tightly on both power strip/video card respectively and monitor?

Yeah I doublechecked the cables. The monitor is only around six months old, but it gets a lot of use. Still, I don't think I'll be buying Hyundai again :|

Hyundai L90D+ has a very common problem with vertical dead pixel lines. I'd never recommend them either.
