It's been stuttering all week ... flashing yellow... now everythign has a yellow tint lol

This is for sure the video card right?... I just sold my good comp while I wait for the parts of my new rig... so I have nothing to test it out on

Jesus, old reliable's gonna have to take a long, long sleep. Seriously, it's been what, 6 years? I applaud you and that card for surviving so long.

Could be one of the electron guns on the CRT failing, it could also be the video card dying. Either way, you'd need another monitor to test or another system to put the vidcard in to confirm.

Take a screenshot. If we can see the corruption, its a problem with your video card. If we can't, its a problem with your monitor.

I still use my old PC with a TNT2 32mb for playing MOHAA LAN game at 800x600 medium detail!!! lol.... onboard with no cooling at all - not even a heatsink!!!

Anyway, on topic, could be the RAMDAC on the card dying or the chip itself, as well as the monitor, so just do what Sc4freak suggested.

I still have my old 16MB TNT2 lying around as a spare. It's hard to justify putting it in anything as I still have a Geforce2MX and a Radeon 7000 without a home.😛

Oh hell ya, my dad's old comp is a 4400 Velocity (TNT 128mb). The HDD got a virus awhile back and we stopped using it RIP.
