Think my PSU died - OCZ-GXS850

Just ordered it. It looked too good to pass up and I feel like it should be plenty to power what I have now.

Thanks so much for all of the help everyone, and for the suggestion Rvenger.

I am also thinking about snagging one up for a spare. At almost half the cost of the HX650 this is a steal for a Bronze Seasonic.

Same cord for both supplies, because I wanted to rule that out. I also tried different PCIE connectors and both had the issues at some point or another. The stability of the OCZ unit seems to be an issue - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I ordered the PSU Rvenger linked in a previous post so hopefully I have luck with that. I really could not afford anything too expensive at the moment but I need my system back up and running both for school work and my gaming addiction.

And also, if I can say anything about a PSU brand from personal experience, it is that I have 2 Antec power supplies that are well over 6 years old and they are still up and running powering somewhat modern components. Those damn things last. No more OCZ for me.

For anyone that is still following, just to solidify the fact that my OCZ PSU is dying or cannot handle my full system, I have been running for almost 10 hours straight now using two power supplies. I would assume that if it were any other components causing the issue, it would have acted up by now.

Thanks again for everyone's help.
