I currently own one of the 3rd gen iPod nano's (8gb, little square). It's been great because of it's size, shape, weight, and storage. I run and row so the fact that it's unobtrusive and flash memory made it a great purchase. My biggest beef is iTunes...I frickin hate it. The size is on the small side too.
Right now my current electronic collection includes:
Desktop PC running W7
Netbook running W7
Blackberry Tour on VZW running OS 5.0
iPod Nano
Xbox 360
My Tour handles all my mail, texting, facebook, browsing, and im'ing when I'm not stationary. What I want is a media player (music & video) that I can take on the go and use when I work out. Price shouldn't be outrageous.
Zune HD - looks interesting because of its media potential and zune pass.
iTouch - I don't like apple for a variety of reasons but friend has one and likes it and another one has an iPhone and likes it. If I got one i'd jailbreak the shit out of it instantly. Any way to get around the iTunes requirement?
Archos - my first mp3 player was one of the monstrous Archos Jukebox that was a whopping 4gb HDD. What do they have?
