Think im going to cry. my Oblivion dvd is scratched up.

sigh wanted to install oblivion and the new expanion pack. but the dvd is all scratched up and can't be read. sigh bummer.

i wanted to play ahh!

Bummer...:(

Man, wish I even had a machine that could copetently run Oblivion...damn priorities screwing with my gaming life...:p

heh just upgraded. finally got a machine that can run it on the highest settings. but the damn dvd is all scratched up! so it can't install. bah

For $10. I have had TWO defective discs from Bethsoft (for Morrowind and Oblivion). Both times they say a $10 fee will replace them. I only had cracks in the disc so i was able to make a copies just before destruction.

I think Brasso is supposed to be good for repairing them, but I've never tried it.

If you've already bought the product, download the DVD on BT?

Ive done this with a couple of games, and then mounted the images so I dont have to hunt down the discs for every game I play. For those games Im still able to play online because of my legit CD keys too.

not sure if its free of copy protection.

but thats an idea.but i have to think its a huge download.

Umm probably somewhere between 4.5 and 8.5 GB. Any high speed connection should be able to manage that in less than a day.
