Think I'm going to be hired at an arcade...

It's like the last arcade around in the western PA area that I know about. Said they were hiring so I asked for an application. It's owned by Namco which is probably why it's still existing. Doubt I'll do a whole lot of anything. I went in there yesterday and no one was watching the place; the guy was in the back with the door shut. They got Soul Calibur 2 in but it wasn't on. 🙁

Software Etc. and EBX were being queer to me again. I don't know if it's my mind or what but those guys always seem haughty about their jobs which pisses me off.

i worked at an arcade in tallahassee when i was going to FSU back in '84
it was a good job, i could walk to the arcade from my dorm

wash your hands alot since you'll be handling dirty money and coins. that's the only piece of advice i can think of 🙂

And you will be responsible for cleaning all those machines and removing gum and what not.

That's nothing. I wonder if I could get them to sponser a LAN party there. There is an open spot across from them in the mall that would do quite nicely. Only problem is LAN parties suck anymore.

I just realized that I've been going to that arcade for ten years. I remember when they got the MK II machine.

Nice man.

I remember playing SFII at the arcades YEARS ago!

I think console games suck. The arcade should still be the best experience. I'm glad Sega and Namco still keep them semi-alive.
