I eat about 2 - 3 oz of meat for lunch and about 4 - 6 oz of meat for dinner.

I also get 20 g of whey protein in the morning and 20 g at night before bed.

I'm 5'8", 150 - 155 lbs, I run 3 miles a day and I lift every other day and do pushups and situps every day.

Not enough. 1.5 grams per pound for very active folks or heavy lifters. For folks like you bare minimum of 1 gram per pound.

I am. Here's my diet:

Breakfast: 1/2 Fiber 1 Cereal or Oatmeal, 1/2 cup soy milk, 1/2 cup fruit (berries or melon)

Lunch: Spinach salad with turkey and ham strips and blue cheese dressing, apple with peanut butter (oil on top)

Dinner: Meat (principally chicken but also beef, lamb and pork), fish, or tofu, vegetable (Zucchini, broccoli, eggplant, green beans), and fruit (melon, grapefruit, berries), cheese, yogurt.

I snack on nuts (pecans, almonds, pistacchio).

I eat no refined sugar, no white flour, and a very limited amount of bread and pasta. I don't eat any junk food or baked goods.

I'm supplementing as follows:

1 Men's One-a-day multivitamin
2 Fish oil pills
2 Glucosamine/chondroytin tablets
1 Calcium tablet
1 81 mg aspirin

The recommended thing is about 1.2-2g of protein to 1lb of body weight.

But this is REALLY ROUGH.

With your body weight you should be on no more then 105g a day I would say and my coach.

I really think some body builders are over doing it though with 200g+ a day...........when they start out they weigh 70kg of or so and thy are on 200g a DAY? wtf?......oh well its up to them.........

Remember your total calory intake MUST be enough for sufficient muscle group also. If they are too low your body will use the protein for calories instead of protein for muscle repair and growth so you end up taking less.........

How do you feel? How much water are you drinking in a day?

I feel okay. I'm drinking about 8 glasses of water a day.

I have to get up to pee a couple of times a night which is a pain.

Be careful not to shock your liver too much. I know a guy that consumed that much protein and he lost his gall bladder because of it.

when i was packin muscle hard i had the max amount of protein my body could handle, i ate whey every hour on the hour.

your body can process a certain amount of protein per hour, if you have more than that, the extra goes to waste, just gets shunted out.

Some people because of genetics have trouble metabolizing protein but you would know if you have that problem. I would be more concerned about drinking enough water when you are on a "high" protein diet. It sounds like you are drinking enough though it may not hurt if you drunk more.
