well im planning on watercooling sometime in the next month or two, and my current case wouldn't work very good with a watercooling setup, so i was orginally planning on getting the Cooler Master stacker because its just so big i could easily mount everything, including the radiator inside the case.

But Cooler Master is soon releasing their new Stacker case and i like the design A LOT! the point of this topic is do you guys think that i could mount a 2.120 radiator on the inside of the side panel on the two 120 mm fan going vertical?

here is the case im talking about: http://www.coolermaster.com/activity/830/a01.htm

-thanksl

do you mean you want to mount the radiator to the side panel itself and suck air through it a hole?

yea so essentially the radiator would be mounted on the side panel itself.

It can be done, but it would have to be positioned so that it will fit in the case and not hit anything when you put hte panel back on.
another problems is that you will need extra tubing so that you can actually take the panel off and work on the computer..

one suggesstion is try to put the radiator in the front or maybe on top. I've seen a couple of stackers where the radiator was mounted on the top. Haven't seen anybody use the new 830 though..

well this seems like its going to be too much work, so im just going to go with the CM stacker, since its huge and has a lot of room to work in.

Wow, that's a kickass case, very attractive. It's hard to see, but you MAY be able to mount a PA160 (great 1x120 rad) or some such in the top of the case. Also, you don't want a rad exhausting into your case if it can be avoided.

yea the 830 seems to be the best case if your not looking to watercool your setup and want the best air cooling setup possible, assuming you don't mind the noise lol.

actually coolermaster has some of the quietest 120 mm fans on the market!

I seriously doubt coolermaster would use any other than there best fans in the case!
Also if need be you can always get a Zalman Multi fan Speed controller or 2.....
Theres more than enough room to mount a couple of the ZMFSC!!!

I know I am using the Coolermatser 120mm LED`s and with my zalman MFSC they are near silent.:)

Just a note the zalman slim fan I am using is also Silent!!

The only fan thats not silent is my thermaltake Smart Fan,
But that displaces a huge amount of air...over 90 cfm....so I use that when I am gaming cranked all the way up though!!:)

yea you could use all silent fans, and still have awesome cooling, but people looking to overclock their stuff and looking for the best air cooled case out there, will go balls to the wall when choosing their fans, which they would use the ones that push the most air, which are most of the time extremely loud. lol

this in only a small percentage of the people that will use this case for but still haha...

so have you decided yet which one your going to get? lol

I saw the word 'staker' in the title of the link and got excited, then found out it wasn't the one I thought it was..

Nevermind :p

I reckon you could mount stuff in there with no trouble what so ever, I'd have to see the inside of the case to have a better idea, those promo shots are nice, but not particularly helpful :D
