After watching a recent 60 Minutes piece on GoPro cameras, I found myself watching all sorts of GoPro short videos like this one featuring Ocean Ramsey. Well, the brief glimpse of her led me to do some more research into who she is...she's a free-diver and Great White Shark conservationist who happens to be young and beautiful.

What we are doing to the ocean is despicable.

what really grinds my gears is the whole sharkfin shit that they do over in asia. i mean i get it if they catch sharks to eat, but to catch them, cut off their fin, then throw them back in the water alive so they can die?

just makes no sense to me at all, especially in a place like asia where they will eat every part of the other animals and don't let a thing go to waste. it's sad.

I'm reminded of that guy from California who used to go up to Alaska and commune with bears. Used to, as in past tense.

They both lose, then.

they could be in exosuits allowing them motion though the propulsion will be difficult for the shark. If they were each in microwave powered suits with breathing the fight may be interesting.

In that environment I would have to give it to the lion. Assuming they have means of propulsion all the shark can do is twist and bite, while the lion can twist, bite, grapple, and roar. No contest.

Well, not roar, but open it's mouth really wide.
